Volunteer Opportunities | LifeClinic Community Resources

Volunteers are essential to the programs and operations of LifeClinic. Listed below are several volunteer roles we would love to have assistance with, but primarily, we strive to match your unique interests and abilities with the needs of the ministry. Please connect with us to discuss opportunities that might work well for you and your schedule.

Parenting Education Client Advocate

Meets at least once a week 1-on-1 with moms or dads participating in our Parenting Education program. Advocate prays with client, discusses weekly homework, gives lesson, completes meeting documentation paperwork, and calls client to confirm next meeting. This is a 3-hour time block at the same time each week (9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm). Men and women advocates needed.

Garage / Mom-2-Mom

Organize garage sales or assist with mom-to-mom sales to sell items we received as donations but are not able to use (clothing larger than 3T, etc).

Driver

Available to run errands around town as needed. This does NOT include transporting clients.

Prayer Chapel Partner

Comes into our Saginaw Center Prayer Chapel at a set time each week. We would love for there to be a prayer partner available for all our hours of operation. During this time, you will pray for the needs of the clinic, our clients that come and go, and any personal prayers that may arise.

Handyman Services

Available to help with Center repairs as needed. Needed at all three centers.

Center Housekeeping

Clean the Saginaw Center (vacuuming, bathrooms, dusting, etc.) at the same time each week. 

Lawn Care

Take care of the lawn at one of our  centers once a week. Ability to provide and transport equipment is a plus.

Snow Removal

Plow one of our center parking lots Monday-Thursday as weather permits. LifeClinic closes in accordance with local school districts. Must be able to provide and transport snow removal equipment.

Office Assistants

Assists with daily office tasks such as filing, making copies, mailings, folder assembly, data entry, phone calls, etc. This may be a scheduled time or as needed. 

Special Event Support

Available to help with special events as needed. This could include set up/tear down, food prep and services, preparing invitation m, etc.

Blessing Boutique Organizer

Sorts, tags, and organizes donations that come into the centers. This also includes stocking the Blessing Boutique, bundling diapers, and assisting with seasonal clothing swap-outs. Commit to set time each week.

Blessing Boutique Attendee

Assists clients in the Blessing Boutique by helping them calculate their points and select their items. Commit to set time each week.

Bible Study Leader

Those with Bible study or small group facilitation experience are welcome to lead weekly groups throughout the year. Materials will be provided.
