Supporting Survivors
LifeClinic offers emotional and spiritual peer-to-peer support services for those who have experienced traumatic circumstances in their past. All of our trauma support services are free and confidential. If you have experienced sexual or post-abortive trauma, we are here to support you as you heal.
Trauma Support
LifeClinic offers trauma support services for survivors of sexual assault, abuse, and sex trafficking. If you are a survivor, our LifeGuides are here to listen and encourage you on your road to healing.
This program is not for those currently in crisis. Our LifeGuides are not counselors or therapists, but we can connect you to mental health resources in the community.
Post-Abortion Support
Many women and men feel as though they were not fully prepared for the emotional side effects of abortion. Unexpected feelings after abortion may include guilt, shame, anger, depression and anxiety. If you feel overwhelmed by negative emotions from an abortion, this support program is for you. Post-abortion support at LifeClinic offers a space where you can find rest, healing, and freedom.
Child Abuse Prevention Training
LifeClinic is passionate about preventing the sexual abuse of children. We believe that by teaching adults what they can do to keep children safe, we can prevent much heartache and break cycles of generational trauma.
That is why LifeClinic proudly offers the Stewards of Children© Sexual Abuse Prevention Program developed by Darkness to Light. We recommend all parents, Sunday school teachers, Christian school leadership and daycare staff learn the five steps to protect children from child sexual abuse:
- Learn the facts
- Minimize opportunity
- Talk about it
- Recognize the signs
- React responsibly
The Stewards of Children© Sexual Abuse Prevention Program takes a minimum of 2-hours to complete. We recommend planning on 2.5 hours to ensure all questions from attendees can be addressed.
LifeClinic provides everything you need to host a Stewards of Children© training, including materials to promote and plan for your event and a certified facilitator to lead the training at your location. There is a $15 per-person cost which includes a workbook and certificate of completion.
